General Questions:

  1. Q: What can I find in your web site?
    A: The most comprehensive relocation information available on the Fort Meade area including maps, county and city information, MLS listings, base directory, BAQ rates, daycare info., Rental housing information and more. As a military wife, I designed FortMeadeHomes.com to answer all the questions that a family relocating to our area might like to know. If we're missing some information that you'd like available just call us and we'll add it to our site!

  2. Q: Are you a realtor, a broker, and/or have professional designations?
    A: I am a licensed Realtor and hold the designations of Graduate Realtor Institute, Accredited Buyer Representative, Accrediter Seller Representative, E-Pro, Accredited Home Staging Professional and I've consistently been in the top 2% of real estate agents in the state of Maryland for volume of homes sold AND list price to sales price ratios.

  3. Q: Do you work full- or part-time as a real estate agent?
    A: Full-time and then some!

  4. Q: How many years of experience do you have?
    A: 8

  5. Q:How many properties do you sell per year on average?
    A: 40 - 50
Seller Questions:
  1. Q:Can you provide a specific written marketing plan?
    A: Absolutely, and we back our marketing plan with a 60 day cancellation clause if your are not THRILLED with our service

  2. Q:How long does it take you, on average, to sell a home?
    A: Our average days on market for the properties we listed and sold in 2007 was 52 days. The county average in Anne Arundel for all agents was over 120 days.

  3. Q:Will you advertise a property during the entire listing period?
    A: Absolutely. Although we focus primarily on the Internet where over 85% of homebuyers begin their search for real estate, we also supplement our on-line efforts with print advertising in the Home Buyer's Journal as well as other local publications like the Capitol Newspaper and the Pennysaver.

  4. Q:Should you not perform, can the listing agreement be cancelled?
    A: Yes, we ask for 60 days to prove ourselves, after that you can cancel us with no penalty
Buyer Questions:
  1. Q:What training have you taken that relates to representing buyers or relocation?
    A: I have personally sold over 200 homes in the past 8 years. In addition I earned my Graduate Realtor Institute designation by attending over 120 hours of class time on a variety of real estate specialties. I also earned the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation which is a three day course specializing in buyer representation. This course also has minimum standards for production and required additional add on courses to complete. As for relocation, I learned that the hard way as an active duty member of the US Army and later a Navy wife of over 20 years. I've PCS'd many times and know the special requirements that relocation presents not only as it pertains to housing but every aspect from schools, to pet transport, locating hotels and familiarizing yourself with an area.

  2. Q:How are you compensated?
    A: As a buyer representative, my commission is paid by the Seller. As a seller representative, I receive compensation directly from the seller through my Broker.

  3. Q:Can you provide a FREE relocation package?
    A: Yes including area maps, color listing print outs and much more.

  4. Q:What days/hours are you available to show homes?
    A: I work 7 days a week with flexible hours as needed between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.

  1. Q: How long have you lived in the areas you service?
    A: 10 years

  2. Q: What are some of your favorite hobbies?
    A: My puppies are just about my only hobby other than real estate and Internet website creation and marketing. I'm a computer nerd!

  3. Q: Can you provide a personal resume and references upon request?
    A: Yes, I also provide many references on line at my website under client testimonials. And you can view my "resume" of listings at our "featured homes" link. Just click on the icon marked "closed sales" and my results speak for themselves!

  4. Q: Why should a client work with you versus another agent?
    A: What I bring to the table is a huge amount of caring and understanding about the stress of a real estate transaction, what your family needs, and how long we have to accomplish that. I truly want my clients to have THE BEST including the best house at the best price with the best contract terms. I just really don't know how to do second place. I am very personally vested in each and every transaction and work hard to stay ahead of all possible issues to keep you informed throughout your home sale or purchase.
