General Questions:
- Q: What can I find in your web site?
A: You can search for properties near Brattleboro or near the Mt. Snow and Stratton ski areas. I tried to make the search as easy as possible so a client can just click on a button and perform a search without having to figure out what towns are in what areas.
- Q: Are you a realtor, a broker, and/or have professional designations?
A: I am a REALTORŪ and have also earned the e-PRO designation. I'm currently working on my ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and broker's license.
- Q: Do you work full- or part-time as a real estate agent?
A: Full time.
- Q: How many years of experience do you have?
A: 4 +
- Q:How many properties do you sell per year on average?
A: 25
Seller Questions:
- Q:Can you provide a specific written marketing plan?
A: Yes. I provide all sellers with a written CMA report which includes a marketing plan and description of what I do that's different from other agents.
- Q:How long does it take you, on average, to sell a home?
A: 30 to 60 days.
- Q:Will you advertise a property during the entire listing
period?
A: Definitely! You never know when a deal could fall through due to unforeseen circumstances so you need to market a property until the final papers are signed.
- Q:Should you not perform, can the listing agreement be cancelled?
A: I'm a handshake sort of person so if I can't live up to expectations, then we need to take a look if we can fix what's broken or part our separate ways. My job is to help you sell your property, not stand in the way.
Buyer Questions:
- Q:What training have you taken that relates to representing
buyers or relocation?
A: I mostly work with buyers as a Buyer's Agent and have worked with relocation companies on both the buyer's and seller's side.
- Q:How are you compensated?
A: We agree on compensation prior to signing the agreement but mostly a co-broke split from the listing agency (assuming a non-private sale).
- Q:Can you provide a FREE relocation package?
A: Yes.
- Q:What days/hours are you available to show homes?
A: I schedule to meet the needs of buyers and sellers.
Personal Questions:
- Q: How long have you lived in the areas you service?
A: Born and raised in this area.
- Q: What are some of your favorite hobbies?
A: Billiards, playing with my two little kids and the dogs, catching up on reading.
- Q: Can you provide a personal resume and references upon request?
A: Yes.
- Q: Why should a client work with you versus another agent?
A: I do things a bit different than the established ways as I seek to expose each property to the widest audience possible. I think you need to have vision and the ability to see what a property has to offer as well as it's potential uses.
- Q:What is the best way to get in contact with you?
A: Email. I'm frequently on the road.
- Q: Is there anything else you would like to inform your clients?
A: I like to make the entire process as easy as possible. I tell it like it is and give you my honest opinion as it never does any good to sugarcoat the situation.
